Olubadan Will Meet The Expectations Of The People- Opinion Poll
Stakeholders in Ibadan are of the view that the new Olubadan of Ibadan, his Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Lekan Balogun understands the language of the people and he will be able to meet up with the expectations of the people.
Respondents were of the view that the monarch will use his connections to add value to his domain. Excerpts: -

Q: What is your view as regards the coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadan?
A: We give glory to God for making it possible for us to have a new Olubadan of Ibadan without any form of crisis.
Ibadan is very unique and our traditional system is very outstanding in the country. Senator Balogun is an experienced politician, well groomed and he understands the language of the people. With this, he believes he will be able to meet up with the expectations of the people.
My recommendation to the monarch is that he should continue to protect the interest of his people by ensuring that Ibadan indigenes are head of all the federal agencies in the state. Chief Owoade Funsho Owolabi, the Ekerin Baale Atolu ona ara Local Government.
Q: How do you feel about the coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadan?
A: Oba Senator Lekan Balogun is very progressive in nature and he is very humble and accommodating to the people.
My prayer is that he will live long on the throne of his forefathers and God will give him the required strength for him to initiate ideas that will position Ibadan on a sound footing.

Q: A new Olubadan has emerged in Oyo State, how do you feel with this development?
A: I would like to congratulate the new Olubadan of Ibadan and I will want to say, God has favoured him and the university environment is ready to give him the required support.
We trust in God that during his reign, Ibadan will grow much bigger and move forward while his reign will be peaceful.
I would like to urge all the people of Ibadan that you should cooperate with him to actualize his vision for the people.
